A while ago I remember seeing a comedy special by comedian Patton Oswalt that he performed in 2009 describing what it would be like to go back in time by 10 years and telling his past self about all the advancements that will happen in the next decade. His description of iPods and America's first black President were only the tip of the ice berg. There are way more crazy things going on in today's society that weren't mentioned in the act. Some advances in technology I still have a hard time believing exist in our present day lives. Below I have listed five things that are available in modern society that I would tell my past self to look forward to in the future. I have also embeded Oswalt's act for your viewing pleasure.
